 Sittigs Nursery was founded in 1970 by Erich and Ursula Sittig. It is now run by their children Hans-Jürgen, Heidi, Werner and Wolfgang.
The business is divided into the following four sections :
Garden Centre, Bedding Plant Production, Sales and Distribution and Young Plant Production.
The Garden Centre is managed by Heidi Hinton-Mcdonald and Ivan van der Walt. A wide range of plants, gardening products and gifts are offered.
Bedding Plant production is managed by Wolfgang Sittig.
Sales and Distribution is in the capable hands of Werner Sittig.
The production of Young Plants and Motherstock management is the responsibility of Carol-Ann Lenz-Sittig.
Marketing and general business management is done by Hans Sittig.
 The nursery is situated next to the Aquarium near the Hartbeespoortdam.
